i had an accident which caused my 4 toe to break in two places and I iced it and kept it elevated for 3 days. then i wrapped with gauze and an ace bandage and have been wearing a shoe/boot. why does my entire top of my foot swell? I know I also had some tendon damage, but in the morning my foot looks normal,(except toes, 2 - 4 are still swollen) then by the end of the day my entire top of my foot is swollen.
